Probability and Statistics

Prerequisite:  Algebra II and Geometry.

This course introduces and examines the statistical topics that are applied during the decision-making process.  Topics include: descriptive statistics, probability, and statistical inference. Techniques investigated include:  data collection through experiments or surveys, data organization, sampling theory and making inferences from samples.  Computers are used for data analysis and data presentation. A TI-84+ GRAPHING CALCULATOR IS NEEDED.
