Juniors and seniors are encouraged to enroll and receive dual credit for courses above and beyond those offered at Cardinal Ritter High School. Students will earn 1.0 Cardinal Ritter High School credit for each class. Dual credit courses can be weighted as long as they are a minimum of three college credits.
Marian University Advanced Study Program: 11, 12
The following admission requirements have been set by Marian University.
1. Completed application to Marian University Advanced Study Program.
2. Counselor recommendation form.
3. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
4. Submit SAT and/or ACT scores which must be a minimum of:
a. SAT – 990 Critical Reading and Math or PSAT 990 Critical Reading and Math.
b. ACT – 19 Composite or 18 Composite on the Pre-ACT.
Students are charged a discounted Marian tuition rate. Marian University allows a student to receive up to 24 credit hours. *Please note these requirements are subject to change per Marian.

The following admission requirements have been set by Ivy Tech Community College.
1. Completed application to Ivy Tech Community College.
2. Minimum 2.6 GPA required.
3. Submit test scores from one of the following options:
a. SAT – Minimum scores of 460 Reading, 460 Mathematics, 460 Writing
b. ACT – Minimum scores of 17 English, 18 Reading, 18 Mathematics
c. PSAT – Minimum scores of 80 Reading, 70 Writing (COMPASS is given by the Cardinal Ritter Guidance Office)

The SPAN Program at IUPUI is designed to help motivated students either get a head start on their college education or take courses that are not offered at their high school. Students will earn 1.0 Cardinal Ritter High School credit for each class taken at IUPUI.
